Hotel Auro Hills sits where Boipariguda meets the wooded foothills of the Eastern Ghats. From the balconies the view runs across the road into the trees, with a hill rising in the middle distance. Most evenings the air cools a few degrees, and the property is quiet enough to hear it.

The drive in itself is half the point — the Koraput-Jeypore corridor is one of Odisha's prettier road trips, and Boipariguda is far enough off the highway to feel calm without being remote.

06 — Boipariguda & Around

Koraput-Malkangiri, at the doorstep.

Boipariguda is a small highway town in southern Odisha, with Koraput and Jeypore both within an hour, and the Malkangiri belt to the south. The tribal weekly markets — Onkadelli especially — are a short drive, as is Duduma Waterfall.

The front desk will help plan the day — markets, drives, the road up to Bastar, or a quiet morning on the balcony.
